Fact About Roman Empire

What have you been working on?

Roman Empire:

1. The Romans used a sponge on a stick, known as a “spongia,” as a primitive form of toilet paper. These sponges were often shared and rinsed in a communal trough.

2. The Romans were known for their extensive road network, with over 50,000 miles of paved roads, called “Roman Roads.” This network allowed for efficient travel and communication throughout the vast empire and played a crucial role in its administration and military operations.
